Mark Cashion
Mark Cashion is a double bassist and electric bassist living and performing in the greater Toronto area. He has performed across Canada and toured internationally for the past 15 years, with acts including Michael Kaeshammer, The Shuffle Demons, and The Ernesto Cervini Quartet, to name a few. He's worked as a sideman with some of Canada's most notable jazz musicians such as Don Thompson, Reg Schwager, Kirk McDonald and Pat Labarbera. Also, he's done numerous cruise ship contracts as a show band musician, and in a jazz trio format, for Carnival cruise lines and Premiere Cruises. He has worked as a session musician, co-writer and producer for acts including Melissa Lauren, Andrew Boniwell, and Tim Hamel. Mark maintains a teaching practice in Toronto as a private instructor.
